Xổ số thứ tư hàng tuầnThe overall aim of CBT is to provide psychological tools for patients to use to help address problems and manage their difficulties. This therapy has been shown to improve overall psychological and physical well-being.
CBT focuses on ‘here and now’ problems and difficulties. It can help you to identify and adapt how you think (cognitive) and what you do (behaviour) in order to influence your emotional wellbeing and physical symptoms.
CBT is offered for the management of chronic physical health problems. Please see our psychological services webpage and leaflet for more details.
Xổ số thứ tư hàng tuầnAt the first appointment, a CBT therapist will do a thorough assessment. The therapist and patient work to understand how thinking, feeling and behaving are related. Therapist and patient then identify helpful goals.

Xổ số thứ tư hàng tuầnFollow-up sessions are on an individual or group basis. The sessions are usually weekly and vary from six to eight sessions.

The RLHIM is also a teaching hospital and from time to time other healthcare professionals may observe in outpatient clinics as part of a training course. We will always ask your permission for students to sit in during your consultation. You do not have to have students present if you would prefer not to.
