Xổ số thứ tư hàng tuầnOur hospitals face an unprecedented crisis and we need your help.

After nearly a year of working under intense pressure in difficult circumstances to care for patients - managing the extra stress of wearing PPE, providing extra care for patients in the absence of visitors and covering additional shifts for colleagues who are ill or self-isolating - our NHS staff are physically and mentality exhausted.

Xổ số thứ tư hàng tuầnWhilst COVID-19 vaccines are a light at the end of the tunnel, right now our staff are in the middle of a ruthless COVID-19 second wave. Many describe this as ‘worse than the first wave’, yet they must keep going. At the same time, they face the extra healthcare pressures that every winter brings. All this while continuing to provide emergency, surgical, cancer and other time-critical care to children and adults with some of the rarest and most complex conditions in the world.

Xổ số thứ tư hàng tuầnYour donation could give our doctors, nurses, domestic staff, physiotherapists and others on the frontline the support they need to recover from the trauma and exhaustion of the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • £5 could cover a meal for a frontline COVID-19 nurse who can’t leave the ward on a twelve-hour shift
  • £25 could fund teas and coffees for a week in a refurbished rest area so staff can relax, refuel and recharge as they spend some much-needed time away from clinical areas
  • £50 could fund a wellbeing support group or trauma treatment to burnt out staff suffering from PTSD and other mental health disorders as a result of their COVID experiences.

Xổ số thứ tư hàng tuầnThese are just some of the ways we are supporting the wellbeing, respite and rehabilitation of our world-class staff. Donations to our appeal have already made a . But these costs are above and beyond what the NHS can fund.

Xổ số thứ tư hàng tuầnYour kind donation will help us continue to look after our incredible staff on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic as they look after their patients in the most difficult of circumstances. Thank you for your support.
